Matt Sage has been with Pima County Design and Construction for more than two years. In his role as contracts officer, he manages and coordinates the procurement of design and construction solicitations for the County, specifically for capital improvement projects and Public Works, the Office of Sustainability and Conservation, Community Development and Neighborhood Conservation, Community and Economic Development Administration, the Stadium District, and the Natural Resources and Parks and Recreation Department. Previously, he spent 10 years in the private sector with a geotechnical engineering firm providing marketing and business development. Matt received his Bachelor’s degree in marketing from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Peter Dourlein, AIA, LEED AP is campus architect and assistant vice president for Planning, Design and Construction at the University of Arizona. He has been with the University for more than 26 years and currently serves on the board of directors of AIA, MPA, and Cornerstone Foundation. His previous private sector experience includes many roles, including co-owner of a local architecture firm. Peter and the PDC team provide coordinated University and department leadership and guidance for campus real estate, space planning, design, and construction projects in a two-billion dollar, award-winning building program.
Dan Longanecker, CPPB, is the Principal Buyer for the City of Tucson. In his 18 years with the City, he has worked in the Transit Services Division of the Department of Transportation, and has been with the Design and Construction Services division of the procurement department since 2004. He currently specializes in the Department of Transportation, Planning and Development Services, Energy Management, and Utilities. Some of his recent projects of interest include the Ronstadt Transit Center Joint Development project and the Sabino Canyon Road extension with the Pantano Wash bridge. He also established City of Tucson Energy Perfomance Contracts. He holds a B.S. in business administration from the Eller College at the University of Arizona.
