The role of A/E/C marketer is a multifaceted one in most firms, and one of the many duties that may come with the title is getting the word out to the media about your company’s accomplishments and successes. Please join us for our next lunch and learn workshop, Press Releases That Get You Noticed! Marilyn Noble, Regional Marketing Director for CIP Information Service, will be the presenter.

In this fast-paced hour, you’ll learn the basics of writing both hard and soft news releases, how to build relationships with the media, and how a well-thought-out media plan will make your job easier and get you results. Bring your lunch and your questions!

Marilyn Noble is the Arizona Regional Marketing Director for CIP Information Service, and has been a freelance journalist and magazine editor. She’s been on both sides of the media desk and brings those insights to her work with corporations and non-profits who need communications strategies. In her long and varied career, she’s interviewed actors, artists, astronauts and other assorted people with interesting stories to tell; written, edited, and published several cookbooks and other non-fiction works; and been quoted in media outlets from AgriNews to the New York Times. She lives in Tempe, and is serving her third term as SAAEMA’s communications chair.
